Manchester United loanee Alexis Sanchez is holding out for a permanent transfer to Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan according to the reports emanating from the media in Italy.

Alexis Sanchez signed for Inter Milan shortly before the transfer window ended earlier this month.

The Chilean international star joined Inter Milan on a 10-month loan deal without the option of a permanent transfer but the player is willing to make the move a permanent one at the end of the his loan spell at the San Siro according to Corriere dello Sport.

Alexis Sanchez needed to leave Manchester United during the just concluded transfer window after enduring a disappointing 18-month spell at Old Trafford.

He scored just five goals for Manchester United in 45 games in all competitions including a paltry two goals throughout last season.

Alexis Sanchez scored the winning goal in a 3-2 home win over Newcastle United after coming on as a second half substitute in the Premier League clash.

That was his first goal of last season before the Chilean netted his second and final goal during the FA Cup clash at the home of former club Arsenal.

He scored one of the goals as Manchester United beat the Gunners 3-1 in the fourth round of the competition.
