Premier League giants Chelsea have blocked midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from leaving the club according to the latest reports coming out of the media in France.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is surplus to requirements at Chelsea and the West London giants are keen to offload him before the transfer window ends next month.

The Premier League transfer market has ended but French international Tiemoue Bakayoko can still seek a move away from the club before the European transfer window ends on the 2nd of September.

According to RMC Sports, French Ligue 1 giants want to sign Bakayoko on loan for the season but Chelsea have blocked the deal with the West Londoners holding out for a permanent transfer for the player they signed from the same club for £40m.

He played 185 minutes during Chelsea’s pre-season but manager Frank Lampard told him that he’s not in his plans for the future.

Bakayoko is back at Chelsea this summer after the Frenchman spent last season on loan at Italian Serie A giants AC Milan.

He had a good loan spell with the Rossoneri but they decided against signing him on a permanent deal mainly due to disciplinary issues after falling out with manager Gennaro Gattuso at the end of last season.
