Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken about this year’s Ballon d’Or Award in his latest interview.

The former Manchester United attacker talked about the award shortly after netting four goals to help Portugal to a 4-1 away win over Lithuania in what was an Euro 2020 qualifier.

He has now scored five goals in the last two Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Cristiano Ronaldo was amongst the goals as Portugal beat Serbia 4-2 away from home.

On the Ballon d’Or Award, Cristiano Ronaldo said that his focus is not on it before adding that he’s still a long way from calling it quit on the international football scene.

Ronaldo has inspired Portugal to two crucial away wins in the space of three days thereby breathing life into their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

The 34-year-old recently lost the Champions League Player of the Season Award to Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk.

The Dutch international centre back saw off competition from both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to win the award.

Virgil Van Dijk was rewarded after he played a key role for Liverpool in their Champions League triumph of last season.

It was the second successive final for Liverpool and Van Dijk.

Liverpool lost the 2018 Champions League final to Real Madrid (3-1 defeat) before a 2-0 win over fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the 2019 Champions League final sealed their first trophy in seven years.
