Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is increasingly frustrated with both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial according to the publication from The Athletic.

It was revealed that Solskjaer wants more output from his two strikers.

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford especially have struggled for goals in the last two games in the Premier League.

The two players started the season well but things have not gone their way in recent games.

In training, Solskjaer has been working with the two players on how to score more goals mainly the scruffy types.

Manchester United started the season like a house on fire after they thrashed Chelsea 4-0 at home.

Marcus Rashford was the star of the Chelsea game after netting a brace while Anthony Martial scored once.

Summer signing Daniel James came off the substitute bench in the second half to wrap up the scoring for the Red Devils.

Marcos Llorente

Manchester United are ready to offer £51m to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente this month, according to widespread reports.

The midfield is an area of interest for the Red Devils and Spanish midfielder Marcos Llorente is a target.

Sports Mole claimed that the Red Devils want to make a big money move for Marcos Llorente who has been on the periphery of the Atletico Madrid team.

Marcos Llorente is six months into the five-year deal signed last summer after his transfer to Atletico Madrid from city rivals Real Madrid.

The Spaniard was expected to be a key player for Atletico Madrid this season but things have not worked out that way.

He has made just three starts and ten substitute appearances for the Rojiblancos in both the Champions League and the Spanish La Liga altogether.

Manchester United could offer him the avenue to get his ailing career back on track as long as his club is ready to do a deal with the Red Devils who are short in midfield due to a lot of injuries.

Midfielders Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba have both been injured for several weeks and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had to

Bruno Fernandes

English news channel Sky Sports has given an update on the transfer situation surrounding Sporting Lisbon talisman Bruno Fernandes who’s a major target for Premier League giants Manchester United during this winter window.

According to the news outlet, talks have broken down between Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon over Bruno Fernandes.

It was stated that Manchester United had been quoted £39m for Bruno Fernandes before his Portuguese club decided to move the post by increasing the money to £68m.

Manchester United have found it hard to match the new asking price of £68m from Sporting Lisbon if they want to sign their major transfer target in this January window.

There had been suggestions that Manchester United could include a former player of Sporting Lisbon, Marcos Rojo, in the deal that would take Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t have much room to maneuver with his midfield options at the moment due to injuries to key players and the right thing to do is to try and add quality midfielders to his team for the second half of the season.

It could be a case of lightning strikes twice for Bruno Fernandes who also came close to signing for Manchester United last year.
