How Griezmann Scored His First Goals For Barcelona

New Barcelona signing Antoine Griezmann scored his first goals for the club as he proved to be the catalyst for the first win of the season in the Spanish La Liga.

The French World Cup winner had been under serious pressure especially after his anonymous performance during the surprising loss to Athletic Bilbao in the first game of the season.

Antoine Griezmann was called out by manager Ernesto Valverde for his average performance against Athletic Bilbao who defeated Barcelona 1-0 courtesy the second half strike from substitute Aritz Aduriz.

Antoine Griezmann made up for his anonymous debut by netting two goals in the 5-2 home win over Real Betis on Sunday evening.

His goals came either side of the halftime interval.

Real Betis took a shock lead through summer signing Nabil Fekir in the 15th minute before Antoine Griezmann equalised for the hosts four minutes from the halftime interval.

Griezmann scored the equaliser off the assist from Sergi Roberto who also provided the second Barcelona goal scored by the Frenchman.

Young Barcelona attacker Carles Perez scored his first goal for the Catalans to add a third goal before Jordi Alba and Arturo Vidal extended the lead to 5-1.

Loren Moron pulled one back for the visitors as Barcelona ran out 5-2 winners.
