Juventus fans were left worried after their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo picked up an injury in the colours of Portugal during the Euro 2020 qualifier with Serbia on Monday night.
Ronaldo suffered a hamstring injury during the game as Portugal could only play 1-1 with Serbia at home.
After the game, the Juventus superstar told reporters that he expects to be back on the pitch soon as he allayed the fears of Juventus fans.
The former Manchester United player revealed that the injury he picked up against the Serbians is not serious.
Cristiano Ronaldo left the game with the aforementioned injury on the hour mark and he was replaced by Benfica attacker Pizzi.
Portugal trailed to a seventh-minute penalty from Serbian playmaker Dusan Tadic before the 34-year-old exited the game but the European champions were able to claw back that advantage from Serbia just before halftime.
Danilo Pereira scored a superb goal to equalise for the hosts and they could have won the game in the second half if not for some woeful finishing and dodgy refereeing decisions.
Portugal are in danger of not making it to Euro 2020 despite the fact that they are the defending champions in the wake of two home draws at the start of their qualifiers.
They played out a goalless draw with Ukraine in their opening game.
