Juventus Drop Mandzukic, Emre Can From Champions League Squad
Italian Serie A giants Juventus have dropped the duo of Mario Mandzukic and Emre Can from their Champions League squad.
The two players were the notable absentees from the Champions League squad list revealed on Tuesday.
Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri had to select 22 players from a pool of 26 players and the likes of Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic were casualties.
Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic were linked with other clubs during the transfer window but the two players were unable to leave Juventus before the European transfer market ended on Monday.

Apart from Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic, club skipper Georgio Chiellini was also absent after suffering a serious knee injury.
Chiellini has been ruled out of action for the next six months meaning that he will miss the entire Champions League group stage campaign for this season.
Juventus have been drawn in the same group as Lokomotiv Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid.
