Premier League legend Jamie Carragher has named the best defensive midfielder in the competition.
According to him via Sky Sports, Liverpool midfielder Fabinho is the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League at the moment.
The ex-Liverpool centre back is certain about his choice as he said that Fabinho has been a revelation for the Reds since he broke into the team towards the winter part of last season on the back of his move from French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco.
The Brazilian national team player left AS Monaco to join Liverpool last summer in a £43.7m deal.
He had a slow start at Liverpool as he struggled to nail down a starting XI berth in the team.

His fortunes changed towards the middle part of last season.
Fabinho was a key player for Liverpool as they won the Champions League title last season and also ran Manchester City close for the league title.
The Brazilian helped Liverpool to their best league points in the Premier League era (97 points) as the Reds finished the season in second place.
Fabinho has started the new season just like he ended the last campaign.
