Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo has reacted to the news that Alex Iwobi has left Arsenal for Everton in the Premier League.
Alex Iwobi was confirmed as an Everton player just before the Premier League transfer window was shut on Thursday evening.
The Super Eagles playmaker joined Merseyside giants Everton after they agreed to a deal worth £40m for him thus making the Arsenal Academy graduate the most expensive sale done by the Gunners.
His transfer fee exceeds the previous record held by England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who moved from Arsenal to Liverpool last year.

Arsenal legend Kanu Nwankwo reacted to Alex Iwobi’s transfer from Arsenal to Everton via his official Twitter account.
According to him, Alex Iwobi is a Gunner despite his exit and that he will always be a Gunner.
Kanu Nwankwo went on to add that Alex Iwobi retains his support despite the move from North London to Merseyside.
Alex Iwobi came through the Arsenal Academy before making his debut for the first team in October 2015.
He spent 15 years at Arsenal in total including his teen years.
Alex Iwobi scored 15 goals in 148 appearances during his time at the club and he had the 2017 FA Cup title to show for his exertions are Arsenal.
