Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised Daniel James for his performance during the Premier League game with Southampton earlier on Saturday.
Southampton played host to Manchester United at the St. Mary’s Stadium in the first game of the latest set of Premier League matches this weekend.
The Saints secured their first home point of the new Premier League season with the 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United.
After the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Welsh international star Daniel James after he scored a world class strike to edge Manchester United into an early lead.
Daniel James scored in the 10th minute off an assist from Scotland international player Scott McTominay.
The Welshman has now scored three goals in four league games for Manchester United since his summer move from English Championship outfit Swansea City.
Manchester United had several opportunities to add to the goal from Daniel James but poor finishing was a let down for the fallen Premier League giants.
Southampton levelled proceedings in the second half through centre back Jannik Vestergaard.
The Saints played the final 18 minutes of the game with ten men after left-back Kevin Danso was sent off for two yellow cards and they were still able to hold on to their point.
