New Chelsea manager Frank Lampard was delighted to bag the first win of his managerial career at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard had a successful career as a Chelsea footballer and the former club midfielder is back in a managerial capacity with his beloved team.

He bagged his first victory as a Chelsea manager following the 3-2 win over newly promoted Premier League team Norwich City at Carrow Road in the first of the league games played on Saturday.

After the game, Frank Lampard expressed his delight with the win before pointing out that Norwich City were a tough opposition and that they will win a lot of home points on their return to the Premier League.

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was the hero for the Blues after he scored two goals for his team including the winning goal in the second half.

It was the first pair of goals scored by the Chelsea Academy graduate.

Another young Chelsea player, Mason Mount was also on target for the West London giants.

During his post-match press conference, Frank Lampard also provided an injury update on Pedro Rodriguez who pulled up during warm-up before the game.

According to his manager, the Spanish international forward suffered a hamstring injury.
