Paris Saint Germain (PSG) sporting director Leonardo has revealed that Barcelona have made just one offer for star player Neymar and that there’s no agreement between the two clubs for the Brazilian international star.
He was reacting to recent reports which claimed that PSG and Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of the aforementioned Neymar.
Leonardo spoke with reporters about Neymar and Barcelona immediately after the win over Metz on Friday night.
PSG secured top spot on the French Ligue 1 table following the 2-0 away win over newly promoted team Metz.
Angel Di Maria (penalty) and Eric Choupo-Moting were the goalscorers for PSG who could still lose that top spot to either Lyon or Saint Erie before the end of this weekend.
After the Metz game, Leonardo confirmed that the only Barcelona offer for Neymar was made on August 27 before adding that the deal for the Brazilian player can still go through before the end of the European transfer market on Monday.
Neymar has not played for PSG as he tries to secure a move to former club Barcelona.
The 27-year-old has been injured for the majority of this summer and he’s presently working his way back to full fitness.
