Manchester United players have been stunned by the decision to take penalties off Paul Pogba on the back of the penalty event that characterized the league game with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night.

According to the UK Sun, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has taken Pogba off the list of penalty takers and his teammates have been surprised by the decision from their manager.

Paul Pogba was the centre of attention during the game against Wolves after he lost a second half penalty.

The French World Cup winner was fouled by Wolves skipper Conor Coady before the resulting spot kick was saved by the impressive Rui Patricio in goal for the hosts.

Manchester United dropped their first points of the season in the Premier League as a result of that missed penalty.

Pogba would have given Manchester United the three points at stake if he was successful from the spot.
