West London giants Chelsea have made a transfer decision on Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata according to the latest media reports coming out of the United Kingdom.

Alvaro Morata is on loan at Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid until next summer having joined the Rojiblancos on an 18-month loan deal in January 2019.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have made a firm transfer decision on their Spanish international striker.

It was revealed that the Blues have threatened Atletico Madrid about recalling Alvaro Morata this summer and that the only thing they can do is sign the Spaniard permanently for £50m.

Alvaro Morata recently talked about how he’s enjoying his football as an Atletico Madrid player on the back of a bad spell with Chelsea.

The former Juventus and Real Madrid player is adamant that he wants to stay at Atletico Madrid rather than go back to Chelsea.

He signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2017 for a then world-record fee of around £60m.

Morata joined Chelsea from Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid two years ago.

The Spaniard made a great start to his Chelsea career including a treble against Stoke City but things soon went downhill towards the winter period of the 2017/18 season.

He never recovered until he was shipped out on loan earlier this year.
