Nigerian-born England international Tammy Abraham has broken his silence since his penalty miss gave Liverpool the UEFA Super title at the expense of his club, Chelsea.

The Chelsea Academy graduate was targeted by racists following his penalty miss in the UEFA Super Cup played on Wednesday.

Anti-racism body Kick It Out has condemned the racist remarks against Tammy Abraham via their official Twitter handle.

On his own part, Tammy Abraham has vowed to continue taking penalties for Chelsea amidst the backlash that he received from the game.

Tammy Abraham had come in as a substitute for Olivier Giroud towards the end of second half before missing the decisive penalty during the shootout which ended in a 5-4 victory for Liverpool over Chelsea.

The two teams had played out a 2-2 draw at the end of both regulation time and extra time.

Chelsea took the lead in the first half through Olivier Giroud off an assist from Christian Pulisic.

Liverpool equalized through Sadio Mane to force extra time after a one-all draw.

Mane edged Liverpool ahead for the first time in extra time before Tammy Abraham was then brought down by Adrian in the Liverpool goal thereby paving the way for Jorginho to equalize for Chelsea from the spot.

Liverpool then went on to win the penalty shootout 5-4 to seal the Super Cup title.
