Chris Smalling has joined AS Roma on a season-long loan deal without the option of a permanent transfer.
His transfer was announced by the official Twitter handle of AS Roma on Friday evening.
Chris Smalling will wear the number six jersey at AS Roma on the back of his loan transfer from Premier League giants Manchester United.
The English centre back would replace Kostas Manolas at AS Roma after the Greek international left the Italian capital club to join Napoli.
