Former Manchester United and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reportedly wanted to sell attacker Anthony Martial for two reasons.
This is according to the publication from the stables of the UK Times.
It was revealed that Jose Mourinho wanted to sell Martial because he’s mentally weak and that he reacts slowly to setbacks.
Another reason why the Portuguese tactician wanted to sell him was because he sulked too much during games.
Anthony Martial became a Manchester United player in the summer of 2015 following the big money move from French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco.
Manchester United splashed the sum of around £50m on the French international player.
He scored 11 goals in 31 games in the Premier League.
Anthony Martial was one of the players that had issues with Jose Mourinho before the Portuguese tactician was sacked by Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho lost his job at Manchester United in December 2018 after the poor start to the season.
Anthony Martial has started the season well for Manchester United.
Club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has trusted him to be the central striker for Manchester United this season.
He has scored two goals and also added an assist in three Premier League games for Manchester United this season.
