Sky Sports pundit Jose Mourinho has sounded a note of warning to North London giants Arsenal in the aftermath of their win over Newcastle United.

According to the former Manchester United and Chelsea manager, Arsenal have to maintain their good start following the 1-0 win over the Magpies at the St. James Park.

Jose Mourinho, while doing his punditry in the Sky Sports studios, warned Arsenal that a good start to the season does not guarantee a good end to the season.

The Portuguese tactician said that the Gunners need to improve to ensure that they are in the mix for the title race having ruled them out earlier.

Mourinho had stated that only three teams namely Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will fight for the Premier League title.

Arsenal would be hoping that Jose Mourinho is wrong about his prediction for the title race.

The Gunners made a good start to the new Premier League season despite fielding a depleted team at Newcastle United.

Arsenal were missing the likes of Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac for security reasons, while key striker Alexandre Lacazette was an unused substitute as he recovers from an ankle injury.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the game in the second half.

The Gabonese international has now scored 33 goals in 50 Premier League appearances for Arsenal.
