Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal will join Spanish La Liga club Real Sociedad in the coming days according to the media in the European nation of Spain.
Nacho Monreal is expected to leave the Gunners for Spain.
According to Spanish media outlet Marca, Nacho Monreal will join Real Sociedad on a two-year contract with the option of another year.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery had hinted at the imminent exit of Nacho Monreal after the game against Liverpool at the weekend.
During his post-match press conference, the Gunner boss said that Nacho Monreal will have a talk over his future at the club in the coming days.
Nacho Monreal played the entire duration of the Liverpool game as the Gunners lost 3-1 to the Premier League table toppers.
Liverpool scored their goals through Joel Matip and Mohamed Salah (2), while Arsenal got their consolation goal through substitute Lucas Torreira.
Monreal came through the ranks at Spanish club Osasuna before he joined fellow Spanish outfit Malaga.
The Spanish international joined Arsenal from Malaga in January 2013.
During his time at Arsenal, Nacho Monreal won three FA Cup titles.
Nacho Monreal won the 2014 FA Cup title, the 2015 FA Cup title as well as the 2017 FA Cup title.
