Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has paid tribute to young striker Tammy Abraham after his match-winning exploits for the Blues in their Premier League clash with newly promoted outfit Norwich City on Saturday.

Tammy Abraham was the star of the show as Chelsea bagged their first win of the season with the 3-2 victory over the Canaries at Carrow Road in the first league game in the English top flight on Saturday.

In his post-match press conference, Frank Lampard praised the quality shown by Tammy Abraham during the game before adding that his goals were well taken.

Nigerian-born England international Tammy Abraham returned to Chelsea this summer following a hugely successful loan spell at Aston Villa and he had not scored for the Blues until the game against the Canaries.

He bagged two goals either side of the halftime interval to give Chelsea a first win of the season via a 3-2 victory over Norwich City.

Tammy Abraham had not scored in his first three games for Chelsea.

Young Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount also scored for the visitors who suffered their first league defeat at home in this calendar year.

Mason Mount has now scored in two successive league games for Chelsea this season as a result of his strike against Norwich City.
