Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp is certain that young Chelsea player Mason Mount would be one of the breakout stars of the new Premier League season.
He spoke highly of the Chelsea midfielder in a chat with the Daily Mail.
According to him, Mason Mount would be an important player for Chelsea who were unable to flex their muscles in the just concluded Premier League transfer window.
The Blues were handed a transfer ban by world football’s governing body FIFA for breaching rules relating to the signing of players under the age of 18.
Chelsea were given a two-window transfer ban and they had their appeal against the ruling thrown out by FIFA’s Appeal Committee.
The West Londoners have taken their case to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) and a ruling is expected in the nearest future.
They have already served the first transfer window of the ban.
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has somewhat benefitted from the transfer ban as manager Frank Lampard has had to integrate young players like him into the first team.
Mason Mount spent last season on loan at English Championship outfit Derby County while Frank Lampard was their manager.
The 20-year-old has been in very good form for Chelsea since returning to the club this summer.
EPL: Why Coutinho’s fate is in Arsenal’s hand
North London outfit Arsenal have been tipped to move in for the signature of Brazilian international, Philippe Coutinho from Spanish La Liga club, Barcelona, this summer transfer window.
The Gunners have been linked with the player who is out-of-favour at the Bernabeu with his future left hanging as German Bundesliga outfit, Bayern Munich are unwilling to give him a permanent stay at the club.
Reports now claim that the North London club are the only solution to Philippe Coutinho as the player has already decided that he does not want to play for the Spanish giants anymore.

Most clubs are refusing to look the direction of Philippe Coutinho because of the wage bill and the same reason why Barcelona are having it tough with him to stay.
Should the North London club propose a loan deal for Philippe Coutinho, it would solve a lot of problems as the wage bill could be shared between the two teams.
However, there are fears that the North Londoners have already rejected the chances of having the former Liverpool player at the Emirates Stadium as they prefer his Brazilian counterpart, Willian from West London club, Chelsea.
Willian is reported to have completed medicals at the Emirates Stadium and a three-year deal is set to be announced by the club.
EPL: Man United could hurt Chelsea in Desperation this summer window
Man United have been desperate in their bid to land a winger, especially in their approach to secure the service of England international Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund.
The Red Devils are yet to have a breakthrough and are already left frustrated in the bid for Jadon Sancho. They have been advised to move on and look for other options.
Because they are desperate for a winger, Man United might dump the chase of the former Man City Academy player and move in for the signature of Chelsea target, Kai Havertz.

The West London outfit are also stranded in the place of negotiation with the German outfit insisting they want £90 million for the 21-year-old star.
This development leaves the Red Devils with the chance of landing Kai Havertz if they meet with his valuation and this will definitely hurt the West Londoners who are also very keen.
Man United have been given a deadline of August 10 to sign Jadon Sancho but they failed to meet up and that is not even a threat to the deal but the fee and the involvement of agents and intermediary.
EPL: How Pirlo’s appointment has caused tension in Man United’s camp
Man United will now have to work harder to keep French midfielder Paul Pogba at the club following the appointment of Andrea Pirlo as the head coach of Juventus.
The Red Devils had earlier believed that the World Cup winner is now happy at the Old Trafford, especially with his recent form but that can change in a twinkle of an eye with Pirlo’s influence at Juventus.
The end is yet to be heard of Juventus’ interest in their former player, Paul Pogba and the latest is being linked with the sack of former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri and the appointment of Andrea Pirlo.

However, Man United will do all it takes to keep Paul Pogba as they are already planning to hand him a new contract deal which means he will no longer be available for a return to the Serie A outfit.
EPL: What Arsenal must do to make Willian’s arrival worth it
Fears have been expressed over the coming of Brazilian international from West London outfit, Chelsea to the North London club, Arsenal this summer transfer window.
The Brazilian international has already been confirmed to leave the Stamford Bridge this summer transfer window and has already bid farewell to his teammates to make the expected move.
Football expert Gabriel Marcotti in his interview with Sky Sports expressed fears that Willian’s arrival at the Emirates Stadium might not make any sense if the club still keeps Alexandre Lacazette.

He noted that Alexandre Lacazette still has one year on his contract ahead of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and adding Willian for a three-year deal will mean spending too much.
According to him, the North Londoners might not be able to cope with the financial burden, to add with the choice of players for games.
He also noted that the Gunners team have got the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Eddie Nketiah at the club which means there would be selection headache and the level of redundancy will be better imagined.
However, the decision by Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta for Alexandre Lacazette is unknown but he has continued to be mentioned as part of the players to say goodbye.
EPL: Chelsea make £20m bid ahead of Arsenal for want-away defender

It is also confirmed that the Gunners will be in the summer transfer window for defenders but that has not been spelled out as the focus has been on Willian and Philippe Coutinho from Chelsea and Barcelona respectively.
EPL: United finally decides “unfavourable” Henderson fate
If claims by Alan Nixon is anything to go by then English Premier League club, Man United have already decided the fate of English goalkeeper Dean Henderson ahead of the coming season.
Dean Henderson spent last season on loan with Sheffield where he excelled and impressed. He is now on the radar of West London outfit, Chelsea for a transfer as he is being tipped to end his relationship with the Red Devils.
The 23-year-old is reported to have told his owners that he will not be staying at the club if he will not be guaranteed on a first-choice role ahead of Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea and that is most likely not going to happen.

However, reports claim that the future of Dean Henderson has already been decided as Man United are hoping to keep him at the club without a promise of a first-team football.
The decision isn’t a favourable one for Dean Henderson as he only wishes to have a fresh start elsewhere but United will tempt him with a very lucrative new deal that will have him earn about £100,000 weekly.
However, a loan move for him is already being talked about by Man United as he will not remain at the Old Trafford as a second goalkeeper.
EPL: Chelsea, United now handed boost in Rice’s chase
Two English Premier League clubs, Man United and Chelsea have been handed a major boost in their chase of West Ham United player Declan Rice in the summer transfer window.
Both teams have been in chase of the player and it seems it would be a difficult one to achieve but West Ham United are now being forced to make certain decisions if they must bring in new faces.
One of the decisions is to let go of Declan Rice to be able to cash in on him with the Blues and the Red Devils keen on his signature.
- Manchester United set to raid two players with irresistible cash offer
- Big transfer decision made at the Stamford Bridge
- EPL: Man United favoured by Angers for Rayan Ait-Nouri
The Blues manager, Frank Lampard is hoping to concert Declan Rice back to a defender to solve the problems at his back, the reason why he is being followed.
The Red Devils are not also left out of their wish to land the 21-year-old to add depth to the squad ahead of next season with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to reinforce as well.
However, the Hammers are hoping to leave it for the highest bidder as they hope to cash in about £70 million for Declan Rice which would be enough to sanction most of their transfer deals this summer transfer window.
Yes!! Coutinho agrees terms but is Willian still coming?
The latest report has claimed that Arsenal have already agreed on personal terms with Philippe Coutinho for a deal to happen in the coming days as soon as a fee is agreed upon.
Barcelona are hoping to part ways with the former Liverpool man after a big-money deal as German Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich failed to keep him on a permanent deal after his loan spell with the club.
Arsenal are keen to land the Barcelona player and talks have been reported to be heading the right direction with a loan deal as an option.

However, this development has caused a drop in the transfer of Willian from West London club, Chelsea to the Emirates Stadium as reports had earlier claimed that the Gunners will not be bringing in the two players to the club.
This development has left Arsenal fans divided with some seeking for Willian over Philippe Coutinho while others are saying the opposite.
Commentators have argued that Willian will make more impact at Arsenal than Coutinho which means a deal for the Barcelona star and a snub for the Chelsea man may not go well for the club.
Already, reports claim that Arsenal have handed Willian a three-year deal to join the Emirates Stadium and will have him earn £100,000 weekly.
