Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has named his provisional squad for the crucial league game at the home of newly promoted team Norwich City.
Lampard and his Chelsea players have not won a game this season and they have the chance to right that wrong when they visit Carrow Road for Saturday lunchtime kickoff.
French midfielder N’Golo Kante is nursing an ankle injury at the moment and he’s rated as doubtful for the game.
Kante makes the provisional squad alongside Pedro Rodriguez who missed training at the start of the week.
According to Frank Lampard, Pedro Rodriguez missed training as he was rested.
Since his appointment as the new Chelsea manager this summer, fans’ favourite Lampard has not won a competitive game.
The Norwich City clash is the fourth game for Frank Lampard as the Chelsea boss.
Chelsea suffered a 4-0 defeat away to Manchester United in his first game in the league before the 1-1 draw at home to Leicester City last weekend.
