Arsenal manager Unai Emery has provided an update on the fitness situation of both Mesut Ozil and Granit Xhaka ahead of the trip to Liverpool in the Premier League.
Mesut Ozil is yet to feature for Arsenal this season due to security issues, while Granit Xhaka missed out on the last game, a 2-1 win over Burnley, because of a back problem.
Unai Emery talked about the two players during his pre-match presser on Thursday ahead of the top-of-the-table clash with Liverpool.

The Spanish tactician disclosed that the two players are back in full training ahead of the game before adding that he will wait till the final training session on Friday to make a decision on the them and their potential involvement in the squad for the Liverpool game.
Ahead of the Premier League clash between the two teams at Anfield on Saturday evening, Unai Emery also hinted that club-record signing Nicholas Pepe could start the game after coming on as a substitute in each of the first two league games.
Liverpool and Arsenal are the only clubs with a perfect record after just two rounds of league games but it’s certain that at least one of the two teams will lose that 100% record.
