Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has slammed midfielder Paul Pogba for the role he played in the crucial penalty miss that characterized the Premier League clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United.

Paul Pogba is in the spotlight after missing a second half penalty during the game which ended 1-1.

After the game, Gary Neville slammed the French World Cup winner before adding that he should have left the penalty for teammate Marcus Rashford.

Gary Neville made this known while he was on Sky Sports.

According to him, Paul Pogba has missed four penalties in the last 12 months, while Marcus Rashford has a perfect record from the spot.

Gary Neville stated that Marcus Rashford should have taken the penalty rather than Paul Pogba.

The penalty miss was a crucial incident in the game which ended with both teams earning a share of the spoils.

Manchester United took a first half lead through French international Anthony Martial before Ruben Neves equalized at the start of the second half via a wonderful strike from the edge of the box.

Paul Pogba was fouled by Conor Coady later in the second half and the Frenchman had his penalty saved by Wolves GK Rui Patricio who made sure his team got a point from the game.
