Manchester United flop Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of leaving the club before the European transfer window ended after agreeing on personal terms with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The news of the agreement was announced by trusted Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Premier League transfer window has closed but players can still move from the English top flight to other leagues and Alexis Sanchez falls into the category.
The Chilean international also attracted the interest of Inter Milan’s rivals AS Roma but the Italian capital club dropped out of the race to sign him due to financial reasons.

Inter Milan have agreed on personal terms with the player but they will still need to reach an agreement with Premier League giants Manchester United over the transfer fee for the player.
Alexis Sanchez has three years left on his present contract with Manchester United and the three-time European champions want at least £22m for the player according to the latest reports in the British media.
Manchester United have not reaped their rewards on Alexis Sanchez who earns £500,000 on a weekly basis at the club.
