New Chelsea signing Christian Pulisic rejected Premier League rivals Manchester United for the West London club because of Jose Mourinho.
This is according to former Chelsea winger Clive Walker.
The ex-Chelsea, Brighton and Hove Albion and Fulham player further said that Mourinho’s poor record of nurturing young players was a major turnoff for Pulisic’s father who’s not a fan of the Portuguese tactician.
Christian Pulisic moved to Chelsea from German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in a £57.1m deal thus becoming the third most expensive player in the history of the West London club.

Chelsea reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Christian Pulisic in January but the American player didn’t join the West London club until this summer.
He made his debut for Chelsea during the Premier League clash at the home of Manchester United.
Christian Pulisic was powerless as the Red Devils thrashed his team 4-0.
The American player went on to provide an assist for Giroud in his second game for Chelsea, the European Super Cup defeat to Premier League rivals Liverpool.
