New Chelsea signing Christian Pulisic rejected Premier League rivals Manchester United for the West London club because of Jose Mourinho.
This is according to former Chelsea winger Clive Walker.
The ex-Chelsea, Brighton and Hove Albion and Fulham player further said that Mourinho’s poor record of nurturing young players was a major turnoff for Pulisic’s father who’s not a fan of the Portuguese tactician.
Christian Pulisic moved to Chelsea from German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in a £57.1m deal thus becoming the third most expensive player in the history of the West London club.
