Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has hit back at Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola over his comments on winning the Champions League.

According to Pep Guardiola, winning the Premier League title is more important than the Champions League but Mohamed Salah has a different opinion.

In an exclusive interview with CNN, to win the Champions League is like a dream for players and fans before adding that he was like a kid that his dream came through when he won the competition with Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah was a major part of the Liverpool team that won the Champions League title last season.

The Egyptian international scored the first goal for Liverpool as they beat Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in their final clash thereby emerging as the Champions League winners.

Salah gave Liverpool the lead from the spot in the first half before substitute Divock Origi wrapped up the win towards the end of the game.

Liverpool ended their seven-year wait for a trophy as a result of that Champions League triumph.

The Reds have added a second trophy after winning the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night.

Liverpool beat Chelsea 5-4 on penalties after the two teams played out a 2-2 draw.
