Manchester United legend Gary Neville is adamant that the Red Devils will win the Premier League title before arch rivals, Liverpool.

The former Manchester United defender made this known while he was on popular English media channel Sky Sports for his punditry job.

According to him, Liverpool will be hindered with the potential loss of star player Mohamed Salah who has been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus in the past.

He believes that Manchester United can return to winning ways with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Liverpool have come close to winning the Premier League title on two occasions in the last five years.

The Reds have not won the Premier League title in their illustrious history.

Their last league title came in the pre-Premier League era.

Liverpool won the title during the 1989/90 season and they are in the frame to end their title drought of three decades (30 years).

The Reds are the second favourite to win the Premier League title this season behind Premier League champions Manchester City who are bidding to win a third successive league title.

On their part, Manchester United are without a league title for the five years (since the 2012/13 season).
