New Real Madrid signing Eden Hazard has spoken about his first goal for the Spanish La Liga giants since his transfer from Chelsea this summer.

Eden Hazard scored his first goal for Real Madrid during the 1-0 win over Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday.

After the game, Eden Hazard spoke with reporters as he expressed his delight after ending his goal drought.

He had not scored for his first five games as a Real Madrid player until the Red Bull Salzburg game.

The Belgian international was involved in one of the biggest transfers of this summer on the back of his move from Chelsea.

Eden Hazard left Chelsea to join Real Madrid for an initial fee of €100m.

His last act as a Chelsea player was when he scored a brace for the Blues as the Belgian led them to the Europa League title for the second time.

Chelsea are the reigning Europa League champions after their 4-1 win over London rivals Arsenal.

Eden Hazard was a Chelsea player for seven years between 2012 and 2019.

The 28-year-old joined Chelsea from fellow French Ligue 1 club Lille in 2012 and he went on to win two Europa League titles as well as two Premier League titles.
