Manchester United flop Alexis Sanchez is reportedly set to leave the Premier League for Italy.
This is according to the publication from the Daily Telegraph which revealed that Alexis Sanchez is closing in on a loan move to AS Roma.
The Premier League transfer window ended on Thursday but the European transfer market is still on till the start of next month.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is open to the idea of letting Alexis Sanchez leave the club after the Chilean international star failed to settle cum live up to his price tag at Old Trafford.
Alexis Sanchez joined Manchester United at the start of last year in a swap deal from North London giants Arsenal.
The swap deal involved Henrikh Mkhitaryan who moved in the other direction.
Alexis Sanchez spent three-and-a-half hugely successful years at Arsenal but he has not been able to replicate that form at the Theatre of Dreams.
He scored just three goals for Manchester United last season.
Alexis Sanchez has been busy all summer with his country at the 2019 COPA America tournament in Brazil.
He was part of the Chilean squad that reached the semifinals at the tournament which was won by hosts Brazil.
