Van Dijk became the most expensive defender after Liverpool paid £75m to secure his transfer from fellow Premier League outfit Southampton.
Since his transfer, Van Dijk has been one of the best players in the Liverpool team since his transfer to the club in January 2018.
He was a key player for Liverpool in their Champions League title triumph from last season.
Manchester United fans would be hoping that new signing Harry Maguire could have the same impact on their team.
According to the Daily Mail, Maguire will earn £150,000 on a weekly basis.
The 26-year-old will sign a five-year deal at the club with the option of a sixth year.
