Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is a worried man following his side’s poor form during the preseason.

The Los Merengues have been largely disappointing in preseason and Zidane has to get his team ready for the new season which starts in the next few weeks.

According to Spanish football expert Dermott Corrigan, the poor form shown by Real Madrid has forced Zinedine Zidane into a rethink over Paul Pogba.

Dermott Corrigan spoke about Real Madrid and Paul Pogba on Transfer Talk Podcast.

Zidane pushed for Real Madrid to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba during the first half of this transfer window but the push for the Frenchman had gone off the boil in recent weeks until now.

Real Madrid have just over one week to get a deal done for Paul Pogba rated at around £150m at the moment.

The Premier League transfer window ends next week Thursday and the Red Devils will want to hang on to Pogba’s services.

Manchester United have just over one week to sign a replacement for Pogba if Real Madrid want to sign him.

Paul Pogba has two years left on his Manchester United contract at the moment with the option of a third year.
