Merseyside giants Everton are considering the idea of making a move for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko during this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to the publication from the stables of French media outlet RMC Sport.
Everton are in the transfer market for a new midfielder on the back of the agreement between the Premier League club and French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) for midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
According to the aforementioned report, Everton want a replacement for Gueye after they reached an agreement for his transfer to PSG in a £27m deal and Tiemoue Bakayoko is seen as a possible replacement for him.

Tiemoue Bakayoko spent last season on loan at Italian Serie A side AC Milan after he became surplus to requirements when Maurizio Sarri was appointed the Chelsea manager last summer.
He made 42 appearances for AC Milan last season but the Rossoneri didn’t take up the option of a permanent deal despite the fact that he had a good loan spell at the club.
AC Milan had the opportunity to sign him for just €35m after his loan spell but decided against it.
Bakayoko signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2017 in a €40m deal from French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco.
