Europa League finalists Arsenal will have to fend off the interest of fellow Premier League club Newcastle United who are back in the hunt for OGC Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
According to French publication L’Equipe, the Magpies have revived their interest in the young French attacker who was rated at €40m by his club.
The initial asking price from OGC Nice led to the withdrawal of Newcastle United from the race but they are back in it after the asking price was reduced from €40m to €25m.
Newcastle United are ready to offer just €15m for the winger.
Allan Saint-Maximin scored six goals and also added three assists in 34 games in the league last season.
In addition, the Frenchman also scored two goals in four Europa League games for OGC Nice during the last campaign.
Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce is new in the job having been appointed earlier this month and the former Manchester United defender is keen to offer strengthen his forward line before the start of the new Premier League season scheduled for the second week of next month.
Newcastle United have already lost the services of the likes of Ayoze Perez and Salomon Rondon from last season.
