Europa League holders Chelsea are reportedly plotting a complicated transfer for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer.

According to Vital Football, Chelsea have been handcuffed by the transfer ban imposed on them but that has not stopped the West London giants from being linked with a move for Zaha.

They are interested in him alongside two other Premier League sides namely London rivals Arsenal and Merseyside giants Everton.

Chelsea were given a two-window transfer ban by world football’s governing body FIFA after they found culpable in the transfer of players under the age of 18.

The West London giants initially lost their appeal against the ruling at FIFA level before they took the case before the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

The CAS hearing is expected to hold later this year.

For now, Chelsea can’t sign players to boost their squad ahead of the new season.

On Zaha, Chelsea are proposing a big money move for the player rated at £80m before the exciting winger is sent back to Crystal Palace for the new season billed for next month.

Chelsea will have to fend off the intense interest from the likes of Everton and Arsenal to pull off the deal.
