Merseyside giants Everton are reportedly in talks to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha before the Premier League transfer window ends at the start of next month.

According to Sky Sports, the Toffees want to sign Zaha who has seriously been linked with a move to North London giants Arsenal.

Wilfried Zaha is a top transfer target for Arsenal manager Unai Emery during this summer’s transfer window.

The Spanish tactician will have to fend off Everton if he wants to sign his preferred target.

Everton are set to offer £60m for Zaha according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol but that’s still a long way from the valuation of the player from Crystal Palace.

The Eagles have slapped an asking price of £80m on the Ivorian international player.

Zaha has already told senior club officials at Crystal Palace that he wants to leave the club for a new challenge this summer and his preferred destination is Arsenal.

A move back to the North West with Everton is an option for him but staying in London is his first target.

North London giants Arsenal had earlier made a £40m bid for him during the early part of this summer’s transfer window and it was rejected.
