Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have demanded a big sum of money for unsettled midfielder Philippe Coutinho from interested clubs.
Barcelona playmaker Coutinho is the subject of interest from other clubs on the European football scene after failing to perform at the Nou Camp.
According to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona want €120m for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho in addition to weekly wages of €14m.
Barcelona are ready to take a big hit on Philippe Coutinho who joined the Catalan giants for €160m.
The 27-year-old signed for Barcelona from Premier League giants Liverpool during the winter transfer window of last year.
The €160m fee was reinvested into the Liverpool squad with the signing of Dutch international centre back Virgil Van Dijk and Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Van Dijk holds the record for the most expensive defender in the history of world football after the Reds paid £75m to secure his signing from Premier League outfit Southampton.
On his part, Alisson Becker briefly held the record for the most expensive goalkeeper ever when he completed his £67m move from Italian Serie A giants AS Roma.
Both players (Alisson Becker and Virgil Van Dijk) played a major role as Liverpool won the Champions League last season.
