Crystal Palace In Talks To Sign Replacement For Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Premier League club Crystal Palace are reportedly in talks to sign Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne during this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to the Sunday Mail which claimed that Crystal Palace see Clyne as the man to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka who left for fellow Premier League club Manchester United earlier this summer.

Nathaniel Clyne is no stranger to Crystal Palace having come through the youth teams at the club before he made his debut for the first team under Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock.

The 28-year-old left Crystal Palace for Southampton before joining current club Liverpool in 2015.

Nathaniel Clyne was the first choice right-back at Liverpool until two seasons ago when Trent Alexander-Arnold established himself as the undisputed first choice in the right-back position.

He suffered a long-term knee injury during the 2016/17 season and that played a big part in him losing his place in the Liverpool starting XI.

Nathaniel Clyne joined Bournemouth on loan for the second half of last season but he has returned to Liverpool for preseason.

He could be the man to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka who has started his career at Manchester United well after his £50m move from Crystal Palace earlier in this transfer window.
