Fenerbahce FC of Turkey striker Max Kruse has revealed that he received a lot of offers from European sides.

In his latest interview as monitored by popular media outlet Goal, Max Kruse confirmed that he got offers from several European clubs including Liverpool.

Max Kruse opted for Turkish Super League giants Fenerbahce amidst the several offers he received this summer.

The German striker left Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen to join Fenerbahce on a free transfer after his contract with the Germans ran out in June.

Earlier reports in the British media had claimed that Liverpool were targeting a move for Max Kruse in their bid to sign a replacement for Daniel Sturridge.

The England international star left Liverpool this summer after his contract with the club came to an end in June.

Liverpool announced his exit alongside that of Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno.

Both players were on the bench for Liverpool as they won the Champions League title last season.

Sturridge and Moreno were unused substitutes as Liverpool beat fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur in the final.

The North Londoners were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool via the goals from Mohamed Salah (penalty) and second half substitute Divock Origi either side of the halftime interval.
