Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis is set to join Brazilian Serie A side Flamengo on a free transfer this summer.
According to his latest interview as monitored by Goal, the Brazilian international hinted about a move to Flamengo on the back of spending a second spell at Atletico Madrid.
The veteran left-back will return to his native Brazil this summer as confirmed by the player himself.
Filipe Luis was one of the veteran players that left Atletico Madrid this summer after their respective contracts ran out.
He had earlier left Atletico Madrid for Chelsea before he returned to the Rojiblancos at the end of just one season.
Apart from Filipe Luis, veteran defenders Diego Godin and Juanfran have also left the club.
Uruguayan international Godin has already joined Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan on a free transfer.
The former Villarreal player has joined the Antonio Conte revolution at the San Siro.
Atletico Madrid have made wholesale changes to their squad ahead of the new season billed for next month.
The Rojiblancos have signed Mario Hermoso from fellow Spanish La Liga club Espanyol as the direct replacement for the aforementioned Godin.
For Juanfran, Atletico Madrid have signed England international Kieran Trippier from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
