New Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has downplayed the intense transfer rumours linking Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba with a move back to the club this summer.

In his latest interview as monitored by popular media portal Goal, Sarri was asked about Paul Pogba.

According to him, he does not have much information on where the Pogba pursuit is at the moment.

Maurizio Sarri said that he didn’t have much information about Paul Pogba and the reported return to Turin.

The Italian tactician returned to Italy this summer after one year in England.

Sarri was the Chelsea manager last season and he also led the Blues to the Europa League title in addition to third place in the Premier League table.

The Italian also led Chelsea to the Carabao Cup final which ended in a penalty shootout defeat to Premier League champions Manchester City.

For Paul Pogba, he spent four years as a Juventus player between 2012 and 2016.

He won four successive league titles during his time as a Juventus player.

The French World Cup winner joined Juventus on a free transfer from Premier League giants Manchester United in 2012 before he returned to the Theatre of Dreams in 2016 in a deal reported to be around £89m.
