Chelsea Player Dismisses Exit Rumours

Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso has dismissed the transfer rumours linking him with a move from the West London club this summer.
The Spanish defender addressed those transfer rumours in a chat with reporters in Japan as he said that there are still four years left on his current deal.
Marcos Alonso signed a new deal last year that will take him till the summer of 2023.
The Spaniard and Chelsea are on a preseason tour of Japan at the moment.

On the appointment of Frank Lampard as the new Chelsea manager, Marcos Alonso said that the new development gives the club a fresh start and not only him after the end of Maurizio Sarri’s managerial reign at the club.
Sarri has left Chelsea for the Juventus job and club legend Lampard is the new man in charge of the playing squad at Stamford Bridge.
Marcos Alonso joined Chelsea from Italian Serie A club Fiorentina in the summer of 2016 and he went on to play a big role for the Blues as they won the 2016/17 Premier League.
He won the FA Cup title in his second season before losing his spot in the Chelsea XI to Emerson Palmieri towards the end of last season.
