Man Utd Ready To Spend £35m To Sign Dani Olmo



Three-time European champions Manchester United are reportedly ready to spend as much as £35m on Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo this summer.

Dani Olmo plays his club football for Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb at the moment.

He was one of the best players for the Spanish team who recently won the European u-21 Championship in Italy and San Marino.

Dani Olmo and Spain won the tournament via a 2-1 win over Germany who lost their title to the Spaniards.

The Dinamo Zagreb midfielder was named the man-of-the-match during the final clash between Spain and Germany.

He scored three goals for Spain during the tournament which came to an end on Sunday.

The interest of Manchester United in Dani Olmo was revealed by media outlet Sportske Novosti.

Manchester United are not the only major European club interested in the 21-year-old midfielder.

Apart from the Red Devils, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are all keen to sign the midfielder this summer.

Manchester United are in the market for a new midfielder following the exit of Ander Herrera last month.

The Spanish midfielder left Manchester United after his contract expired.

He spent five years at the Theatre of Dreams following his move from Spanish club Athletic Bilbao in 2014.

Xabi Alonso Predicted Team To Win Premier League Title



Former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich midfielder Xabi Alonso has predicted the team that will win the league title in the English top flight.

The ex-Liverpool player has predicted the team that will win the Premier League title and its not Manchester City.

Xabi Alonso made his prediction in a chat with BBC Sport as he backed his former club Liverpool for the title.

The ex-Spanish international midfielder is backing Liverpool despite the fact that the Reds lost out to Manchester City last season.

Liverpool missed out on the Premier League title by just a solitary point in the last campaign.

The Reds had 97 points while eventual champions Manchester City recorded 98 points to take the title for the second successive season.

Manchester City recorded 14 straight wins towards the end of last season to take the title.

Liverpool have started this season well and they are the early pacesetters after winning the first two Premier League matches.

The Reds are one of only two clubs to achieve the feat.

Arsenal are the other club to win the first two Premier League games of the season.

The two teams, Liverpool and Arsenal, will face each other in a week three fixture this season.

Chelsea Suffer Heavy Injury Blow Ahead Of Norwich City Clash



Europa League holders Chelsea have suffered a big injury blow ahead of their league meeting with newly promoted Premier League outfit Norwich City.

The Blues travel to Norwich City to take on the Canaries in one of the week three games in the Premier League.

The injury update on one of the Chelsea players was provided by manager Frank Lampard in a chat with the club’s official website.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is likely to miss the Norwich City game because of an ankle sprain.

According to Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, Kante has carried the injury throughout the week.

Lampard is still hopeful that his star player will feature in the game against Norwich City.

The Norwich City v Chelsea game is the early kickoff in the Premier League on Saturday.

Frank Lampard would be hoping that N’Golo Kante is fit to take his place in the starting XI against the newly promoted side as his search for a first win continues.

The Chelsea manager has not recorded a win in his first three games since being appointed into the job this summer and he would be hoping that the situation will change starting with the away game at Carrow Road.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that young Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot will miss the next league game against Crystal Palace.

Manchester United will host Crystal Palace at the Theatre of Dreams in what’s one of the week three matches in the Premier League.

Solskjaer told MUTV that Diogo Dalot is still recovering from injury and he will miss out on the home game against the Eagles.

Diogo Dalot will miss the Crystal Palace game alongside fellow defenders Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Manchester United will be hoping to return to winning ways against a Crystal Palace team that’s yet to record a win in the new league season.

Crystal Palace played out a goalless draw in their first game of the season in the Premier League before they were beaten 1-0 by newly promoted team Sheffield United.

The Eagles face a difficult trip to face Manchester United who have four points from their first two league games.

The corresponding fixture between Manchester United and Crystal Palace ended in a goalless draw.

Manchester United made a fast start at home to Chelsea as goals from Marcus Rashford (2), Anthony Martial and substitute Daniel James gave the Red Devils a 4-0 win before they went on to play a 1-1 draw at the home of Wolves.

EPL: Marco Silva Reveals When Alex Iwobi Will Play For Everton

Everton manager Marco Silva has hinted that new signing Alex Iwobi could make his debut for the club in their away game at newly promoted outfit Aston Villa.

The Midlands club will host Everton in the first game of the week three fixtures in the Premier League at Villa Park on Friday night.

In his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Marco Silva said that Alex Iwobi could make his first appearance for the Toffees against Aston Villa though he was quick to point out that the Super Eagles of Nigeria player won’t start the game.

Marco Silva said Alex Iwobi is not fit to play 90 minutes at the moment largely due to his fitness levels.

Alex Iwobi joined Everton from North London giants Arsenal in a deal reported to be around £40m.

The 24-year-old left Arsenal after 15 years at the club.

The Nigerian player had been at Arsenal since the tender age of eight.

He came through the ranks at the North London club before making his first team debut in October 2015.

Alex Iwobi scored 15 goals during his time as an Arsenal player.

His exit was facilitated by the signing of Nicholas Pepe in a club-record deal worth around £72m.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that star player Paul Pogba is stronger on the back of the racist abuse he has received.

Solskjaer spoke about Paul Pogba during his pre-match press conference on Friday morning ahead of the weekend’s league clash with Crystal Palace.

On the issue of the racist abuse meted out to Pogba, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that the Frenchman is dealing with the situation and he can only come out of it as a stronger man.

Paul Pogba was racially abused on social media after the Frenchman missed a crucial penalty for the Red Devils.

His missed penalty ensured that Manchester United played out a 1-1 draw at Wolves when they could have easily won the game.

Pogba’s second-half penalty was saved by Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio some moments after Wolves equalized through the stunning strike from Portuguese international star Ruben Neves.

The Ruben Neves stunner canceled out the first-half strike from Manchester United star Anthony Martial with his second league goal in as many as games.

Manchester United lost their hundred percent record mainly due to the missed penalty from Pogba.
