Arsenal have reportedly matched the offer made by North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur for Saint Etienne defender William Saliba.
This is according to French media outlet RMC Sport which claimed that the Gunners have made an offer of €30m for the young French defender.
The Gunners had earlier made a bid of €30m including add-ons and bonuses before their offer was bettered by Spurs who made an offer of the same amount without add-ons and bonuses.
William Saliba is one of the most exciting young players in French football and the Gunners have to contend with their North London rivals for him.
