Premier League clubs Manchester City and Manchester United have been in a two-way battle to sign Leicester City defender Harry Maguire in recent days and it appears the player has finally made his choice out of the two giants of English football.
According to the Daily Mirror, Harry Maguire has picked Premier League champions Manchester City ahead of city rivals Manchester United.
It was revealed that the England international centre back will seal a world-record move for a defender in the coming days.
Manchester City will pay £80m for the former Hull City and Sheffield United player to set a new record for the most expensive defender in the history of world football.

The current recipient of the record is Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk who sealed a £75m move from Southampton to Merseyside at the start of last year.
It has been money well spent for Liverpool who won the latest edition of the Champions League with Van Dijk playing a big part of the triumph made possible by the 2-0 win over Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their final clash played in Madrid at the start of the month.
Harry Maguire will be paid a whopping £280,000 per week at Manchester City who see him as the direct replacement for former club skipper Vincent Kompany who has left to take up a player/manager role at Belgian side Anderlecht
