13-time European champions Real Madrid have reportedly made one of the Manchester United players their top transfer target for the rest of this summer’s transfer window.
This was confirmed by the publication from trusted media portal Goal which claimed that Manchester United talisman Paul Pogba is now the top transfer target for Real Madrid between now and the end of the transfer window in August.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been made the top priority for the Los Merengues ahead of Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen as Real Madrid search for a quality midfield signing this summer.
Paul Pogba is the top priority due to him being the preferred player by Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane who’s a big fan of the former Juventus star.
Real Madrid are not the only club in the hunt for the French World Cup winner with his former club Juventus also interested in a move for him.
He spent four years at Juventus before joining Manchester United for his second spell at the Theatre of Dreams.
Juventus received a then world-record transfer fee of £89m for his move to Manchester United whom they had earlier paid compensation after they signed him on a free transfer in the summer of 2012 since he was from the Red Devils’ Academy.
