North London giants Arsenal have reportedly been linked with a big money move for Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet this summer.
The 25-year-old Belgian midfielder has been touted as the possible replacement for Aaron Ramsey who left Arsenal this summer.
Welsh international Ramsey has ended his 10-year association with the Gunners after the expiration of his contract.
The 28-year-old was not given a new contract by senior Arsenal officials.
Aaron Ramsey had earlier been offered a new deal before it was withdrawn by club officials as the player held on for more money.
The Welshman will join Italian champions Juventus on a free transfer after signing a four-year deal worth £400,000 on a weekly basis.

Dennis Praet has been identified as the man to replace Ramsey with reports claiming that Arsenal made a joint bid for the player and his Sampdoria teammate Joachim Andersen.
Arsenal have made three separate bids for the two players including a third bid of €55m.
The Gunners had earlier made bids of €45m and €48m for the two players who were instrumental to Sampdoria as they finished in the top half of the Italian Serie A table last season.
