Juventus Join Man United In The Race To Sign Kalidou Koulibaly

Italian Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly joined the race to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly during this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to the publication from popular Italian news outlet Tuttosport which claimed that the Italian giants want to sign Koulibaly from rivals Napoli.

It was revealed that Juventus believe that they have a good chance of signing Kalidou Koulibaly once Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri becomes their new manager.

Sarri is expected to be named the new Juventus manager in the coming days after he agreed to a deal with the Old Lady.

Juventus have reached an agreement with the Italian tactician and he’s expected to earn around £6.2m per annum in Turin.

Senegalese international star Koulibaly is widely regarded as one of the top three centre backs in world football and it remains to be seen whether Napoli will sell the defender to their rivals.

Kalidou Koulibaly has been a key player at Napoli since his transfer from Belgian top-flight side Genk in 2014.

He has been linked with a summer move to Manchester United amidst recent reports that Napoli wants at least €90m for the defender.

Other European clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on a summer move for the African star.
