Amidst report that Liverpool star Xherdan Shaqiri would be leaving the Anfield at the end of the season, manager Jurgen Klopp has made a claim that has got everyone confused.

Going by his statements, it is unclear if Xherdan Shaqiri would be leaving the club at the end of the season or the German boss is only justifying his reason for not playing him in the just-concluded season.

Manager Jurgen Klopp showered praise on Xherdan Shaqiri, describing him as one of the most important players in his team. He noted that most people would have complained about the lack of playing time but made it clear that the former Stoke City player was a very important member of the squad.

However, Liverpool boss did not make any claim if Xherdan Shaqiri would be leaving the club or not but before his statement, it was suggested that Xherdan Shaqiri is unhappy at the club and will leave at the end of the season.

Howbeit, manager Jurgen Klopp made it clear that he will not be releasing his players in this coming summer transfer window, stressing that he has got a very good squad and will not seek to distract the team.
