Spurs Attempt To Hijack Arsenal Move For This Brilliant Player
North London giants Arsenal are facing a big battle in their quest to sign Saint Etienne defender William Saliba during this summer’s transfer window.
According to experienced journalist Mohamed Boufahsi, Tottenham Hotspur want to hijack a move for William Saliba from the jaws of Arsenal who are the favourites to sign the young French centre back.
The Gunners were said to be closing in on a move for the 18-year-old until Tottenham Hotspur made a €30m bid without bonuses.
Arsenal had earlier offered the same €30m bid for the player but the offer includes bonuses.

Saint Etienne want to sanction the sale of the player with the condition that the player would be loaned back to the French Ligue 1 club.
William Saliba has enjoyed a remarkable rise in the space of few months on the back of his debut for Saint Etienne last year.
He made 16 appearances for Saint Etienne in the league as the young French defender helped the club to fourth place at the end of last season.
William Saliba would be the second summer signing for the Gunners if they can pull his transfer off at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur.
Young Brazilian attacker Gabriel Martinelli is the Gunners’ first signing of the summer.
